How to Bulk Generate Barcodes for Clothing Tags

Efficiently create hundreds of unique barcodes for your apparel inventory, perfect for price tags, hang tags, and internal tracking.

Manually creating barcodes for every size and style of clothing is a nightmare. Our free Bulk Barcode Generator allows you to automate this process, creating hundreds of professional-quality barcodes for your clothing tags in minutes.

Why Code 128 is Best for Clothing Tags

For internal inventory and point-of-sale systems (that aren't using UPC/EAN), **Code 128** is the ideal choice. It's alphanumeric, so it can encode complex SKUs (e.g., `SHIRT-RED-MED-001`), and it's compact, making it perfect for small clothing tags.

Step 1: Prepare Your Product Data

Create a CSV or Excel (`.xlsx`) file with your apparel data. The first row must be headers like `SKU`, `Style`, `Color`, and `Size`.

  3. Link Barcode Data: Link the barcode's value to your `SKU` column.
